The audience were taken by surprise when a brand new unpopular Masa took the microphone and out came a strong melodious voice.
She was the last act at the Beat Goes on concert which featured Eve Kawadza, Emilia Patrick and Masa.
The floor had already been heated up by non stop music by Eve and Emilia, everyone in the Alliance Francaise auditorium was in a jovial mood.
But at the same time they did not know what to expect from this Masa and some where contemplating on leaving, this did not discourage her from dishing out what she had prepared for the night.
She did six songs and kept her audience on their feet, one lady commented that her voice was world class material not to be hidden.
For some she sounded like Zahara, she was then joined by Eve and Emilia for their combined last act and made sure everyone left happy.
The showbiz world should lookout for this new songbird called Masa.
